The branches and leaves grinders are used for shredding the branches and reducing waste volume.

It can works together with the branches and leaves cleaner or with the conveyor belt: in those cases, the branches and leaves are led from the cleaner/belt to the shredder by an aspirator.

The shredding process is made by a rotor placed in a basket.  The centrifugal force applied by the rotation together with the blades placed inside the basket allow the shredding of the product.

The shredded product is ejected to a plughole by the suction created by the rotation of the basket.
